about

"blending musical past histories and approaches, that perhaps felt separate before, into a singular clear and complete statement. the dub references feels very genuine and almost joyous, or enthusiastic in the greatest way.
there’s a certain quality to it all .. can’t place it .. but it feels very alive and awake .. and most definitely natural .. relaxed .. hmm, maybe even human .." - M Red

"Soon into the first track, Escape into Consciousness, I imagined myself listening to the distorted din of an inner-urban landscape. Unidentified construction sounds, machines, vehicles, a pulse of noise compressed through the crack under the door that doesn’t feel hostile or violent. Hearing these sounds, half asleep, eyes closed, the mental haze from the night before still lingering. Then I imagined my eyes opening. I saw my self rise and explore a futuristic landscape. Rhythmic movement of commuters moving at overlapping paces. This is the kind of electronic music I like. Patient, steady, it gets into your body and makes you move. Gets into your imagination and paints things. You forget you’re listening to music… Cutting across neighborhoods, sky scrapers filled with individual stories. Into abandon alleys, decay, discarded tech. Slow flying vehicles occasionally cross the thin strip of sky line bisected by layers of smog. Dark grey and black through shades of puce yellow through the mists lit by a dull diffuse sun." - Merlyn Chipman
